Busy Schedule, work stress, emotional hazard are now being regular part of our life. To get rid of these we need a fresh air. This is main reason that why we take vacations; go for mountains, sea beaches and other beautiful places nationally or internationally. But dilemma it most of the time not able to manage leave for couple of days. In such a monotonous phase, I usually jump for short trip, long drive with my passion of going for new food joints and pamper my test buds. In this article I try to exchange a few words of such experience which indeed was remarkable.
Roamed on the lonely red road, took heart full of fresh air, and experienced absolute silence and soothing green for eyes. Fulfilled all my madness, now target was Sharma Tea. I listen about the place a lot. It was my long time wish to visit the place and test its delicious food items.
Sharma Tea placed in the Southern part of Kolkata in the area of Bhawanipur , just little joint opposite to the Gurdwara of Elgin Road. In this City of Joy a city where anything can happen just over a cup of tea; we can discuss Pablo Neruda to Feluda (Pet name of Satyajit Ray’s detective character Prodosh Mitra) and simultaneously we can discuss handicraft to head and shoulder everything.
So I ordered my tea and eat it. Yes I am a true blue Bengali and Bongs eat their tea! We don’t drink anything for that matter!” Started with tea and Kachauri at Sharma Tea House, I was fully exhausted and uttered with curse with test . I couldn’t control myself to test the lucrative lassi. It’s heavenly. Kolkata’s finest Jalebi! ohhhh yes it a mouth full of hot blessing!
Last but not the least pay something around 200 for all these and leave the heart full of taste. I just amazed to saw such a huge crowd to have food there. A tiny tea stall that had an enormous effect on me that I can show the place proudly to a person who wanted to know about the food culture of City of Joy.
